Recipe for Disaster
The 100th Quest of RuneScape brings you all around Runescape to help save those who you've helped in the past!
The Main Part of the Quest is beginning the `Disaster`. Once you are done you are cordially invited to a banquet, this is where the fun begins! Everyone is frozen in time and you must save them. You must complete each subquest to finally finish off the quest.
Helping the Cook:
Items Needed: Player Made Fruit Blast, ashes, eye of newt, Greenman's ale, rotton tomato.
Skills: 10 Cooking
Quests: Cooks Assistant
Monsters: None
NPC: Cook, pub owner in Yanille, Blurberry or Gnome Bartender
Start Location: Talk to the Lumbridge Cook on the first floor.
Quest Walkthrough:
Starting Out: Talk to the Lumbridge Cook and he'll ask you for some more help. Agree to help him and he'll give you a list of items which he needs for a banquet.
Some Weird Ingredients: The Cook will tell you that he needs a Dirty Blast, Glass of Greenman's Ale, a Rotten Tomato and an Eye of Newt.
A Dirty Blast: To get a Dirty Blast, make a Fruit Blast and add some ashes.
Glass of Greenman's Ale: Go to the pub in Yanille and buy a Greenman's Ale from the bartender
Rotten Tomato: Buy from a pillory.in Yanille
Eye of Newt: Buy from the Port Sarim Magic Shop, or the herblore shop in Taverly
Once you have all of the Ingredients bring them back to the Cook and he'll thank you.
Reward: One Quest Point and an Invitation to the banquet.

Dwarf: Rock Cake
Items needed: 500 gp, ice gloves (to make the quest shorter), bucket of milk, BOWL of water, flour and an egg...If possible an Unlocked Ring of Charos is good to have (must complete Creature of Fenkenstrian and start Garden of Tranquillity)

Monsters: None
NPC: Dwarf, Gypsy, Rohak, a Rising Sun bartender,
Start Location: .Inspect the Frozen Dwarf in the banquet
Quest walk through:
The People have been frozen in time by the Gypsy and only their favorite foods can set them free, now it is up to you to free them.
The Dwarf's Dad: Go into the shortcut under the White Wolf Mountain and talk to the Old Dwarf. Talk to him until you mention the dwarf and needing a Rock Cake, he will then tell you that he is Rohak, the Dwarf's Dad. He will tell you that he will not give you the recipe.
Getting A Recipe: Go to the Rising Sun bar in Falador and talk to one of the bartenders. Ask her about a recipe for dwarves and she will need 200 gp for it. Pay her then she will tell you that you need to put a gold coin into a glass of Asgarnian Ale. Buy some ale (about 5-10 will do) and use a coin (1 gp) with each glass. Now talk to Rohak and keep offering him drinks until he tells you that you are his friend and that you may now know the recipe. Ask him for it and he'll tell you that he needs a bowl of water, bucket of milk, flour, and an egg. Bring him the ingredients and he'll make the hot rock cake. (before picking up the cake you may want to read: cooling the cake).
Cooling the cake: When picking up the cake, if you have some, wear ice gloves to immediately cool it off. If not it isn't a problem. Go to the Ice Mountains (where the Oracle is) and kill an Ice Fiend (level 13). When you kill one the Rock Cake will cool down. Now bring the cake to the banquet and use it with the Mountain Dwarf.
Saving the Goblin Generals
Requirements:
Skills: None
Quests: Goblin Diplomacy
NPCs: MudKnuckles, Gnome Bartender, (Maybe: Aggie, Lletya)
Items: Charcoal, bread, fishing bait, spice (gnome or regular), orange, knife, a dye (blue, purple, green - either one) and a bucket of water.
Now that you've saved the Dwarf, its time for the Goblin Generals.
Goblin Cook and His Experiment: After inspecting the goblins walk to the small Goblin 'Fort' North-West of Falador. Go down the ladder into the Goblin Cook's kitchen and talk to him. He will help you if you help him. He needs a piece of Charcoal for his experiment. Buy some Charcoal from other players or the General Store near Tai Bwo Wannai. Give him the Charcoal and his experiment will begin (it is a cutscene.)
His Experiment was a success! He now knows how to create 'fast food' now he will help you.
Double Trouble:
Mudknuckles will tell you that the Goblin Generals are always fighting...One likes oranges, but the other hates the color. Once likes maggots, but the other doesn't. Once likes crisp bread, but the other likes his soggy.
Getting the Ingredients:
Dyed Orange: The Gnome Bartenders sell oranges Talk to the gnome bartender or buy some from the other gnome wandering around the bar (his are only 2gp while the bartender's is 20gp). Use a knife on the orange to cut it into slices now use either blue, purple or green dye on the orange.
Maggots: Get some Fishing bait and use some (gnome) spice on them.
Soggy Bread: Make/Buy some bread and use a bucket of water on it to make it soggy.
Give the Ingredients to Mudknuckles and he'll make you a Slop of Compromise. Bring it to the Goblins to complete this sub-quest.
Saving the Lumbridge Guide
Requirements:

The Gypsy will tell you to talk to Traiborn in the Wizards' Tower.
Triaborn and Using Guidance: Triaborn will ask for:
(an egg, a pot of flour and a bucket of milk)
Using your Guidance:
Bring him the Ingredients buy he tells you that you need to enchant them using guidance. Your first task is picking the right person.

Here you will have to tell him which items were where etc. We've provided you with all of the questions/answers (pICTURE at left) Question: How many types of runes were there? Answer: 2

Once you have the ingredients make a cake as normal with the enchanted ingredients then give it to the Lumbridge Guide.
Saving Evil Dave
Start Location: Lumbridge Castle Banquet.
Quests: Shadow of the Storm (which requires The Golem), Gertrude's Cat (you must own a cat).
Skills: 25 cooking.
Items: Loads of stews (maybe 15+) buy or make them, a cat (kittens are too slow, as well as overgrown cats) wily cats are good.
Starting Out: Inspect Evil Dave and the Gypsy will tell you to go to his house in Edgeville. Bring your cat and go to Edgville, talk to Doris and tell her that you are EVIL!!! ...
Learning the Recipe: Go down the trap door and talk to evil Dave. Ask him for the recipe (after trying to tell him that he's stuck in a time bubble...) and he'll tell you it was his mum's recipe. Talk to Doris and she'll tell you she puts an certain amount of spices (red, orange, yellow and brown) to make a good stew. But all of Dave's Hell Rats ate the spices.
Saving Dave with a cat: Bring your (wily) cat and kill hell rats to get the spices. Now a good technique (which I used after many attempts of failure) was to try each spice individually. Let's start with orange: Get some orange spice and use it with a stew. Ask Dave if this was the right flavor. If he says Yes, that means there was only one thing of orange, if he says No; try with two doses of orange spices. Once you have the right orange Write It Down. Now move on to erm...Brown. Try 1,2,3,4 doses of brown till you get the right one. Then try yellow and finally red. Once you have the right amounts written down mix them all and he'll take a sip and say that it's EVIL!! (also how evil your cat is) Use your Spicy stew with Dave.

Saving Pirate Pete
Start Loc: Inspect Pirate Pete in the Lumbridge Castle Hall.
Monsters: Mudskippers (31), Giant Crab
Quests: Pirate's Treasure
Skills: 31 Cooking
Items: Fishbowl, needle, bronze wires (x3), Pestle and Mortar, Raw Cod, Bread, knife. (chisel if you want to make crab helm and claw)
Ask the Cook EVERYTHING on how to make a Fish Cake. Now you can make each item.
Breadcrumbs: Use Knife -> Bread
Ground Cod: Use Pestle Mortar -> Cod
Mogre Camp (bring your bronze wire and needle and fishbowl now) Talk to Murphy and he'll ask for a fishbowl. He'll now give you diving gear. Ask to be sailed away (you must have low KG 20- is good, as well as no cat)
Kelp: Pick some Kelp around the area. And grind it up w/ your pestle and mortar.
Rocks: Collect 5 rocks
Crab Meat: Talk to Nung and he'll ask for some (5) Mudskipper hides. Give them to him and he'll ask for some bronze wire(3) and a needle. Give them to him and he'll let you kill the giant crabs. Kill some for their meat and grind it up. If you want to bring a chisel and cut their shells and claws to make crab armor.
Ask the cook how to cook it and use the fishcake on Pirate Pete.

Note: you can't bring mudskipper hides to the surface, but Nung will tell you that he will sell you some in the future (hmmm).
Saving Skrach
To start: inspect Skrach
Requirements:
Levels: 41 Cooking, 20 Firemaking
Quests: Big Chompy Bird Hunting
Items: Axe, Pickaxe, Any ogre bow, Any ogre arrows, Raw Chompy x a few or so.Iron spit, Log, Tinderbox, Ogre bellows, and Balls of wool.
Head to Feldip Hills and speak to Rantz and he will direct you SE. He will show you how to hunt/cook Jubbly Birds if you get him a shortcut to Karmaja. He will knock over a tree - cut through it 2ce.
Now kill a Chompy (use the bloated frogs as bait) and range the bird.
Now Rantz will shoot an arrow - this is where he wants the stop. The arrow was shot into a tree SW of Tai Bwo Wannai's store. Now make a fire and roast spit a chompy over it. When successfull Rantz's kids will come and bring you to Rantz.
He will teach you how to make Toad Balloons - tie some bloated frogs with some balls of wool to some rocks that you can mine near Rantz's home.; then bloat them up some more with more swamp gas.
When the bird comes, range it. Cook the Jubbly on Rantz's spit and use it on Skrach.

To start; inspect Sir Amik
Requirements:

Quests: Lost City, Legends
Items: cream, bucket of milk, rawsweetcorn, a machete, a hatchet, a pot, raw chicken, dramen staff, pestle and mortar, anti dragonbreath shield and Ice Gloves
Recom. Items: some Prayer potions, Good Weapon and Armour
Talk to the Cook about creme brulee.
>Use the milk with the cream to make a milky mixture.
>>Grind some SweetCorn in a mill to make cornflour, add to mixture.
>>>Pick some vanilla from the Khazari Jungle add
>>>>Get your teleport out, and bank everything but your pestle and mortar, go to entrana and into the dungeon from Lost City. Kill zombies for an axe. Grind the fresh dramen branch into cinnamon. Don't add at the immediate moment...
Now ask the Wise Old Man about Chickens/Beasts he will tell of one in Zanaris.
Get your raw chicken, dramen staff, anti-dragonbreath, armour, weapons and food and prayer pots. Then go to Zanaris
Use your raw chicken with the chicken statue right next to the fairy ring.
Now run past the Black Dragons and kill the Chicken take the egg he drops and add it to your mixture. Now add the Cinnamon Now you must kill a Black Dragon, do so.
Now get your ice gloves and rub the dragon token for a dragon to appear - ask him to flambe your creme brulee. He will. Use the Brulee on Sir Amik.

To start; inspect King Awowogei
Requirements:
Levels; 48 Agility, 70 Cooking
Quests; Monkey Madness
Items: knife, pestle and mortar, rope, M'speak Amulet, 5 gp, weapon, antipoison
3 Greegrees (Ninja, Guard, and Zombie),
The gypsy will tell you to go to Ape Atoll and ask Awowogei what he likes. Head over there, from the Gnome Stronghold, and talk to Awowogei, he won't tell you. He will just mention three monkeys
Monkey Business;
Head to the temple to your North and talk to the three monkeys there.. They will say that King Awowogei likes Giant Stuffed Snake with sliced banana and monkey nut paste. Time to go buy some nuts and bananas.
Buy the banana and monkey nuts then head back to Lumdo and sail to Crash Island. Head down the (!) and kill a snake (84) Return to the monkeys to seek out how to cook this meal.
They will tell you that you have the wrong banana, you need a red one.
>>To get this red banana use your rope on the banana tree to the west, on the coast, and pull it down using the Guard Gree Gree. Return to them and they will eat it! Yep, that's the right kind - you must now get another.
Now you need some special nuts. They are located in the Agility Course... Go through the course to the Shed and climb down to pick some nuts. Bring these for another taste test - they are the right kind - so pick some more..
Now talk to the monkeys with your snak, red banana and nuts, they will tell you how to prepare them.

Now you must cook it in a special way
Get your Zombie GreeGree and head down the trapdoor in the temple. Go through the 'Exit'
Use the snake on the rock. Bring this to the frozen Awowogei

The Final Battle
To start; must have completed the Sub-Quests
Requirements:
Quests: 175 QP with Desert Treasure and Horror from the Deep.
Levels; None, but must be able to defeat high-leveled monsters!
Items; Weapons, lots of food, super restore potions.
**Not Prayer will NOT work here!!!
Agrith-Na-Na
Agrith is level 146 - and uses weak stabbing/ranging attacks. Good to use Poisoned Dragon dagger or other dragon weapons.
*you may get more food/weapons between battles!
Flambeed
Flambeed is level 149. It's weak, but quick! Use a good weapon, and stay calm!
Karamel
Karamel is a level 136 and can freeze you! You should melee her as she is defendable against range!
If you are in close combat she can't hit you as high. So try to stay near her!
Dessourt
This level 121 uses magic and melee. and is quick. His magic is stronger than his melee, for the most part. Use a good weapon against this guy! Eat when needed!.
Gelatinnoth Mother
This level 130 changes colors.
White - Air spells
Blue - Water spells
Orange - Melee attacks
Brown - Earth spells
Red - Fire spells
Green - Range attacks
Use attacks for each color and she will die easily.
Culinaromancer
This is a level 75 and has good strength, but poor defence.
