As ever, there are strange occurrences afoot in the sea slug-riddled town of Witchaven. Kennith, the child rescued at the end of the Sea Slug quest, is convinced that the usually peaceful (albeit gastropod-possessed) locals are up to no good in the caverns under the village and asks players to investigate. Beware: not everything is quite what it seems.
Start: Kennith in Witchaven
Needed:
Quets: The Slug Menace
Skills: 46 Mining
Items: Pickaxe
Recommended:
Skills: higher Mining (to mine quicker)
Kennith's Tasks
After talking to Kennith, you must look around for anything strange. Go out West to the Witchaven dungeon and go through the crack in the wall. Walk down - or use the Agility Shortcut - and climb over the rocks to get to the Mines Entrance. The guards will not let you through.
Return to Kennith and he will just be occupied with what is going on with his parents..
Head East, past the church and talk to Kennith's Parents. Kent will leave you quickly, but drop you a note -- meet Kent at the Legends' Guild (to the North)
After talking to Kent, you learn of a new family, and their little girl Kimberly - whom Kennith hates.
Go South to the new house and talk to Kimberly, who's parents have gone missing.
Four Villagers and a Girl
Kimberly will want you to walk with her around Witchaven, but is scared because all the villagers are after her. You will be put into a cutscene-esque mode and must lure four villagers into the church.
Just run around her house, gather the villagers, and bring them into the church (they can't hurt you). Once inside, shut the door.
Kimberly will walk over to Kennith's house.
He is anything but nice. Now more villagers will come - lure these again into the church via the same way.
Now head over to Lovecraft's shop. He'll help you.
Grab your pickaxe, and head down to the Mine Entrance again.
Lovecraft will help you get in.
That Little Route of Mine
Now you must manage your way through the mines without any of the villagers seeing you.
In the first room, when all the villagers are facing the other way, run behind the Third Cart.
Then when they aren't looking, run behind the stone wall. When the two villagers all by themselves head to the left of the wall with indentations, quickly run to the middle space.
Now when they head South run to the wall, prospect it and mine it.
Walk through the tracks and pull the lever. Lovecraft will appear. Now time for the second room.
In the Second room, when everyone is not facing you, run mine the Rubium, place it into the first vent (white line)
Run behind the cart, mine the next rubium when the time is right. Place in vent. Run behind the wall.
Mine the next rubium, run behind the cart indicated on the map. Wait. Then mine the next piece of rubium. Place one into the vent and go behind the wall.
When the time is right head behind the cart
Now when both guards (one by door; one with ore) are looking away, put the ore into the vent.
Proceed thru into the next room.

Now you are in the final room. Run behind the cart. (white line). Then mine the rock and wait. Run up mine the rubium, go behind the stone block. Wait. Mine rubium all along the wall (watch out for the guard at the door). Now run back to the dividing wall. Head into the first room run behind the cart.
Place rubium into the first vent (green line). Behind cart. Now into the Second Vent. Then into the third vent (don't forget to wait when needed). On the second room. Wait for everyone to walk to a good hiding place run out and put the ore into the vent.
Now you can proceed through the next room.
In this room you'll find Katherine and Clive; Kimberly's parents. They ask you for help.
Choo-Choo, Kennith is crazy...
Walk out through the doors (do not teleport) and soon you will meet innocent Kennith.
He will have Kimberly with him, and become enraged with her. He wants the toy train that was briefly mentioned before. Remember, Kimberly lost it, now its more of a big deal...
The train is at the base of a building in Witchaven. Ask Kimberly for a hint.
Search and find it and bring it to Kennith.
Reward:
12,000 Mining XP
5,000 Agility XP
Ability to Mine Rubium.
You can sell this for 10 gp to Lovecraft or mix it with guam potions to get Super Fishing Explosives.
You can talk to Kimberly's parents in the mines and bring them items for 2 pieces of coal each time.

Radimus needs you to do 3 things before you are a Legend (these are harder than becoming a Hero!)
1) Map Kharazi
2) Make Friends with the Natives
3) Bring a Native Symbol
He will give you his notes..
Mapping the Jungle - getting a reward;
Before Embarking on your Legendary Journey; search Radimus' cupboard for his machete; also grab some papyrus from the table; and get your Charcoal.
Before entering the Kharazi Jungle, South of Shiloh Village, talk to a Forester - he wants something impressive to trade for some special item.
Cut your way into and through the jungle using your machete and rune hatchet. You may be attacked by some monsters; namely Jungle Savages (90), Wolves (64) or Oomlies (46)
Now use the charcoal with the papyrus to start your mapping; when you have completed an area (either west, middle or eastern) you will be told; you may also fail. Once you have all sections completed you're map will be finished - done part one. Now this seems to be impressive; a map of a dangerous area, so show your map to the Forester, he will copy it down and give you a Bull Roarer.
Gujuo, Ungadulu and the Caves.
If Needed, get more food, and enter the jungle with your new item. When in the jungle swing your roarer for Gujuo to appear. Talk to him and he will be friendly, as long as you are; he will need help freeing Ungadulu. To find him search the rocks in the form of a triangle in the Jungle and climb down the passageway.
You should see a man behind some walls of fire - this is Ungadulu. Investigating the flames will have him tell you that you need Holy Water.
Head up into the Jungle and swing your roarer and talk to Gujuo about Holy Water. he will tell you that you need a metal of the sun (gold) to carry the water. Take his sketch and some gold bars and a hammer to an anvil (such as the one in Tai Bwo Wannai) and use the bars on the anvil to make the Golden Bowl.
Now get your runes, bowl, lockpick, pickaxe and gems, machete, map and hatchet (if desired food and armour).
Once back in the Jungle swing for Gujuo and have him bless the bwol (needs FULL Prayer of 42+). Now head to the watering hole and cut a reed with your machete to get a hollow reed. Use this with the watering hole and fill your bowl with the water.
Now you can return and water down the flames! When you talk to Ungadulu he seems strange, and he will throw you out from the Octagon. After your recovery, search the bookcase in the NE and enter. To get past the Gate, use your Lock pick; Pick the rocks with your pickaxe.
Push the next Gate. Head S past the Death Wings, Continue down and jump over the wall. Search the next wall and put in your Soul, Mind, Earth and 2 laws (SMELL) runes to unlock the door.
Now you will find yourself in a room with 7 Stalagmites. Use your gems on the stalagmites - each gem has their own home - keep trying until you find the right gem. Now you should find the Book of Binding - take and read it.
>>Optional: to make holy water filled vials click "Activus" in the Book of Binding to bless your vials - this DRAINs prayer and magic!!. Then add your holy water from your bowl. When weilded you throw the water vials at the demon - hitting him hard or low!
Get Prayer Pots!
The First Battle
Go to Ungadulu. Best to bring Silver/Darklight (good against demons) or your own weapon. Use your Book of Binding on Ungadulu and he will turn into a level 187 demon - kill it whatever way you want (holywater, silver/dark light or your own weapon.)
Once he is done, talk to Ungadulu who will give you Yommie Tree Seeds. He will bless you so you can leave the fires. You may now notice that the watering hole is containimated. Swing your roarer and ask Gujuo what happened.
Gujuo will tell you that you need to go to the source of the watering hole. To enter; you need a Bravery Potion. *to make this mix SnakeWeed with Ardrigal in a water-filled vial.
Get out your potion, rope, lockpick, pickaxe, your orb and runes for orb, your armour and weapon as well as your machete and rune axe.
Back in the Caves;
Make your way through the caves behind the bookcase and go to the stalagmite room - now you should find a large gate to the north - use your Orb spell on it. Use your rope on the Winch, and drink your bravery potion then decend. Take the blue hat, and Viyeldi will appear; he will tell you about three other ghosts.
Continue through the path, over the obsticles. At the end you will find San (106), Irvig (100) and Ranalph (92) Kill all three for the crystal pieces.
Use your Crystals on the furnace to get a heart-crystal.
Now go to the Dragon's Eye -looking area on the map and search the mossy rock, afterwards use your crystal on it for it to glow.
Head SW and look for a symbol on the wall - use your crystal on it to open the wall. Run past the lesser demons and push the boulder; a ghost will appear and tell you to kill Viyeldi the ghost; he will give you a black dagger to kill him with.
You can either: 1) Kill Viyeldi; or 2) Don't kill him. If you kill him, you'll also need to kill all the three other ghosts from earlier...
1) Killing Viyeldi.
Head back to the blue hat and attack Viyeldi - he will die instantly and be absorbed into the dagger. Return the dagger to the ghost that gave it to you. Then enter the bouldered room to kill the demon for the second time.
2) Not killing Viyeldi;
If not, use the dagger on Ungadulu and he will give you the Holy Force Spell; if needed get more food, orb and orb runes and the other supplies from earlier. Then head back into the caves and use the Force Spell on the ghost that gave you the dagger - he will become a weaker demon this time.
Now go through the bouldered room and get some holy water from the spring. Use the water on your seeds to germinate them. and refill the bowl.
Third Times The Charm!
Now summon up Gujuo again and he will send you looking for fertile (darker) spots in the earth. Plant your seeds here. When it becomes a sapling water it with your golden bowl; repeat when it is a young tree.
Now chop it down with your axe and you will form it into a totem pole.
When ready for the thrid battle find a Dark Totem Pole and use your totem pole on it. Get ready!
1) If you kill Viyeldi you will need to kill the three other demons again;
2) If you did not kill Viyeldi you will just need to kill the Demon
Once the demon has been finally ridden of the jungle use your pole on the dark pole to change it.
Now summon Gujuo and tell him; he will present you with a Golden Totem; you now have a piece of the Natives and Gujuo is your friend!
Give the pole to Ramius and he will thank you.
Meet him in the Legends Guild for your reward.
